FIFTY NIFTY

While other 3rd graders were spending their Spring Breaks in Disneyland, I was learning about animal scat in The Dakotas, learning how to fish in The Ozarks, or counting turtle eggs in California. For as long as I can remember, my family would take my brother & me on trips all around the country, and it quickly became almost like a scavenger hunt. My Dad is extremely interested in genealogy, and rather than saying "Hey, wanna go search for Death Certificates with me in Kansas?" he turned it into a game - combining history, geography, and adventure, which in turn instilled a deep inherit obsession for travel within me.

As my friends’ interest in travel began to grow (read : expand outside the US), so did mine, and it wasn’t until 2020 when Covid turned my job remote, that I really rediscovered my interest and joy for traveling my home country.

So here’s a glimpse into my grand adventure thus far, dedicated to my favorite travel partner, who sometimes just follows along on Find My Friends, DF.
